Well. About me. I am not used to talking about me, but…. I am a Mom of three beautiful children. I am a genealogist and historical researcher, living in South Florida. I love history and reading. I love needlework. I love the beach and the warm weather. As you probably guessed, my family is Scottish, from Durness, in the Highlands. They all live in Maine (US) now, and I am down here with hubby and the kids.
After genealogy, my passions are soap operas (One Life to Live, Coronation Street, Emmerdale), Top Gear, and rugby. (See, I don’t live totally in the past!) I am starting this site to reconnect with like minded people, people who miss the local pub where you dropped in for a pint and talked to the same people everyday. A virtual pub. A place where a good ghost story is appreciated. And talk of football is encouraged.
